Memoora

Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED · JULY 13, 2026

Memoora is a save-it-for-later app: you capture links, images, and notes, and the app automatically organises them into a warm, searchable feed. This policy describes what the Memoora mobile app collects, how it's used, and who we share it with. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who we are #who

Memoora is built and operated by an independent developer. For any question or request about your data, contact jivani.jevin25@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect #data

We only collect what's needed to save, organise, and sync your items:

  • Account info (via Google Sign-In): your email address, full name, and profile photo URL. This comes from Google when you sign in — we never see or store your Google password.
  • Content you save: the links (URLs) you save, images and photos you upload, and text notes you write. For a saved link, we also fetch the page to extract its title, description, and a preview image.
  • AI-generated metadata: titles, descriptions, tags, matched "spaces", and suggested actions that Memoora derives from your saved items to organise your feed (see section 5).
  • Spaces you create: the themed collections you set up and which items belong to them.

We do not collect advertising IDs, precise location, your contacts, or your browsing history outside the specific links you choose to save.

3. How we use it #use

  • To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • To store your saved items and render your personal feed and spaces.
  • To automatically classify each item — generating a title, description, tags, and matching it into spaces — so your library stays organised (see section 5).
  • To keep your library in sync across your devices in real time.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not run advertising networks.

4. Where it's stored #storage

Your items and account data are stored on Supabase (managed PostgreSQL and private object storage). All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Database and storage access is protected with Row-Level Security, so each account can only ever read or write its own items. Images and files you save live in a private storage bucket scoped to your account.

5. AI processing & third parties #third-parties

To organise your library, Memoora sends the content of the items you save to a third-party AI model for classification. This is core to how the app works.

Identity
Google Sign-In

Used only to authenticate you. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Database, storage & sync
Supabase

Holds your account, saved items, spaces, and media. See Supabase's privacy policy.

AI classification
Google Gemini (Generative Language API)

When you save an item, its content — the extracted text and preview of a link, the text of a note, or the image itself — is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a title, description, and tags and to match it into spaces. This content is processed to return that result and is not used to build your advertising profile. See Google's Gemini API terms and privacy policy.

We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

6. Data retention #retention

Your account, saved items, and spaces are retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete an item it is removed from your library; when you delete your account (see how to delete your account), we delete your profile, saved items, and stored media within 30 days.

7. Your rights #rights

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: edit or delete individual items and spaces at any time in the app.
  • Deletion: request full account deletion from the email address on your account — see how to delete your account. We complete it within 30 days.
  • Withdraw consent: sign out at any time from the Profile tab, which revokes the active session.

8. Children #children

Memoora is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy #changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

Legal

Terms of Service

1. Using the app

You agree to use Memoora only to save and organise content for your own personal use. Don't try to access other people's accounts or data, and don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the app or its infrastructure.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the links, images, and notes you save. You grant Memoora the permission needed to store, process, and display that content back to you — including sending it to our AI provider for classification — solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save the content you add and that it is lawful.

3. AI-generated results

Titles, descriptions, tags, and space suggestions are generated automatically by an AI model and may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided to help you organise your library and should not be relied on as authoritative.

4. Availability & liability

The app is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of saved content. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

5. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or platform safety rules. You may close your account at any time — see how to delete your account.
